ms excel basics in telugu

Use the Scale to Fit settings in Excel 2010 if you need to make a worksheet fit when you must get a few last rows or columns on a single page. You can use the Width, Height, and Scale options in the Scale to Fit group of the Page Layout tab to change these settings. These options are also available on the Page tab of the Page Setup dialog box.

Don’t try to shrink the document too much. Trying to fit too much on a page can make the document typeface too small to read. If you decide to cancel the scaling, select Automatic for the Width and Height settings on the Page Layout tab and set the Scale back to 100%.

Scaling allows you to adjust the size of a worksheet before printing. Scaling is most often used to shrink an Excel worksheet to fit on fewer sheets of paper. It can also be used to magnify a small worksheet to make it easier to read once it has been printed.

There are three scaling options available under the Page Layout tab of the ribbon in Excel 2007:

Width – Allows you to decrease the width of a printout to fit on a set number of pages.

Height – Allows you to decrease the height of a printout to fit on a set number of pages.

Scale – Allows you to shrink or stretch a printout to a percentage of its actual size.

Shrinking a printout is done by setting the scale percentage to less than 100%.
Stretching a printout has a scale percentage greater than 100%.

The Scale option is only available if the Width and Height options are set to Automatic.
